The Hub Trail, consisting of on-and-off-road sections, is restricted to walking, and self-propelled activities such as cycling; it is wheel-chair friendly. It connects historical, cultural and natural points in Sault Ste. Marie, fosters human-powered activity, and engages the user with its mix of urban areas, waterfront, city amenities and attractions, and natural areas and vistas.
The Hub is the nucleus of several networks in the community including cycling routes and recreational paths such as the Voyageur Trail. Users can snack in picnic areas or enjoy a rest on park benches.
